Artificial Lighting Design Layout: LUMEN METHOD
Work efficiency will boost and end users will perceive better ambient illumination in a specified locality of a facility. So far, several rooms in buildings may have adequate illumination due to the inadequate number of lamps in them or because the room seems to have enough overall lighting (space). The objective of this project is to provide learners with an awareness of the fundamentals of designing artificial lighting through the use of the Lumen Method calculation.
Assignment Task
In this assignment we chose a hospital as our facility. I was given the task to do a research on Entrance Lighting which I partnered with my friend. We did learned a lot on this topic. We were to do a research on types of lightings that can be found in hospital entrance, every lighting as detail as possible and provide pictures and section drawings, and lastly include details like the lux, colour rendering index, function, position, colour temperature and etc.
